43 Many times He would ^arescue them;
They, however, were rebellious in their ^bplan,
And they ^csank down into their guilt.

44 Nevertheless He looked at their distress
When He ^dheard their cry;
45 And He ^eremembered His covenant for their sake,
And ^{▼▼Lit was sorry
,} ^grelented ^haccording to the greatness of His mercy.
